You may like the idea of a pilgrimage,
but wonder if you are capable of
the physical demands of a 200 mile trip.
However, with some training and
planning these pilgrimages are  well
within the capabilities of most people.
Pilgrimage is more than a long walk
in a strange land. The end of the
Pilgrimage is the tomb of the Apostle
St James, but it is much more than
exercise or tourism. Someone recently
described it as a walk to the end of
myself where I  met God!!!
The combination of time and space away
from  it all, along with some of the best
scenery in Europe, allows room  for quiet
meditation and prayer. This enables the
pilgrim to gain a fresh perspective on life
that is truly life transforming.
